Quinta do Seixo

Tabuaço
Description / Facilities
Quinta do Seixo is located in Upper Corgo, in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region. Following the Douro River from Régua to Pinhão, we can easily spot this old farm and its modern wine-cellar perfectly integrated in the landscape.
With a total area of 99 hectares, 65 of which are planted with the traditional Douro grape varieties, Quinta do Seixo is one of the largest farms of Sogrape Vinhos in the region, producing both Port wines and Douro DOC wines.

ROBOTIC TREADERS – Once harvesting is completed, the best grapes are carefully selected to be treaded in the robotic treaders. Here, the fermentation process combines the best of the traditional method with state-of-the-art technology. The purpose is to control the temperature and colour and aroma stability as best as possible.

A STUNNING VIEW – Mountains and valleys shaped by Man over many centuries in ledges and terraces form a stunning contrast with the magnificence of the Douro River and the picturesque village of Pinhão. The view is breathtaking the whole year round, its light and colour constantly changing.

THE WINES – The perfect place for discovering and tasting the best wines of the region.
