The Feira Fogaça Brotherhood Established on 15 April 2002, its mission is to promote, study and defend Fogaça, by taking its historical value into account, as well as to divulge and preserve the specific features of genuine Feira Fogaça. Santa Maria da Feira had an extremely fortunate idea when it created the Feira Fogaça Brotherhood, a perfect connection between religion and secularity, promise and fulfilment, baking and tasting, Man and Woman, all within the Feirense Spirit. It guarantees the (non-profit) defense and promotion of Feira Fogaça, and its relation with gastronomy, crafts, art, science and literature.
