A Chalandra

Initially as a traditional grocery store, Chalandra openned its doorsback in 1921. In 1933 it obtained the first license to carry out the catering activity.
After all these years of well-serving, the activity of Chalandra is recognized as a typical house of Matosinhos.
In February 2016 reopened with new management, focusing on the increase of the food service and the creation of new specialties, nonetheless maintaining a service of high quality and excellence.
Chalandra is distinguished by its cosy and familiar atmosphere, combined with the quality of its cuisine, in particular the fish soup and the freshness of the best fish and seafood.
We also offer a selection of top quality meat and a complete and refined wine list and spirituous drinks menu. Also worthy of note are our desserts, in which we ignore the traditional recipes, approaching the most contemporary flavours. Our table service is attentive, courteous and with quality.

Opening Hours: Open every day from 12H00 to 15H00 and from 19H00 to 23H30.
