This belvedere is characterised by lying at the intersection of the wine region to the north, and the granite region to the south. From its 663 m high viewpoint visitors can see the contrasts of this council in the heart of the Douro region. From the top of Mount São Domingos you can see the town of Tabuaço, the Távora River valley to the south, and the Torto River valley with its typical Port wine producing farms to the north. The vineyards abound in these valleys.
As this is an outdoor location, it can be visited at any time of day, so no booking is required.
