Is an unique example of the Sericulture industrialization in Tras-os-Montes, being one of the few monuments that testify this activity in the country. This factory used Italian technology improved since the fourteenth century, here introduced by the Arnaut family: The Round Silk Mill. With the decline of the silk industry, in the nineteenth century, the real spinning machine stops laboring.
