Provesende Pillory

Description
It is an interesting monument dating from the XV century. It is a sixteenth/eighteenth century style monument, classified as Public Interest. It represents the law and justice, being the testimony of the antiquity and importance of Provesende. With 3, 5 meters high, the pillory is supported by five octagonal steps with beveled shaft. It has quadrangular cage dating from 1578. It has a weather vane dated from 1765 and a ring to which the subjection irons were connected.
