We will start by heading to a place that served as inspiration to the writer Miguel Torga, where you will be able to check out the sights from the top of an amazing stretch of the Douro valley, the São Leonardo de Galafura belvedere. Next, we will head to Quinta da Pacheca, one of Douro's most famous vineyards and where you will also taste the wonderful wines that are made there. We'll then move on to Régua, for an eno-gastronomic lunch in which we'll mix different types of food with wine from Douro. Finally an afternoon in front of Pinhão, visiting one of the most beautiful and ancient vineyards in Douro, Quinta das Carvalhas, crown jewel for the Real Companhia Velha. There we will take a tour to the whole vineyard and taste the finest wines from one of Porto's most prestigious wine companies.
At the end of this tour we will be returning to the hotel.
