Proudly facing the historical centre of Porto, in a granite building from 1811, with a view to the Douro River , The House of Sandeman invites you to a mysterious and sensual experience, in a traditional and cosmopolitan environment.
The Sandeman Museum takes you back to London, in 1790, when George Sandeman, a young Scotsman, decided to start dealing with Porto Wines from the north of Portugal and Sherry Wines from the south of Spain. An impressive collection of paintings, photographs, ceramics, old bottles and other memorable artefacts will tell you a fascinate story through an interesting exhibition: "Sandeman – The Art of Branding".
