The construction of this pillory, classified as a Property of Public Interest, dates back to the 15th century.
Two elements of this pillory were lost for many years inside a house located close to the place where the pillory once stood. The elements were supporting a beam which, in turn, supported the flooring of the house. Two-thirds of the total height of the column were visible and its remaining portion was buried. When the column was removed, the capital of the pillory was also discovered. After carrying out a study on the reconstruction of the pillory, the monument was re-erected in 2005 in the same place where it had previously stood for centuries.
The pillory has three square steps and a platform. An octagonal column rises from this platform and a square-shaped capital rests on its top. This capital is shaped like a board on top of which sits a small ball, which serves as its finish.
