The Pelourinho (Pillory) of Larim, probably built in the 16th century, is situated in ‘Casa da Torre’ (Tower House), in the parish of Soutelo, primarily functioning as a judicial landmark. It holds a platform with a stair, on which stands a cubic base. Has a column with square thin base, for circular shaft, slightly clambered, holding on top a rounded frame. Has a prismatic capital, four-squared with overlapping frames inserted in finial, pyramid shape topped by ball with a twisted-iron cross, keeping the submission irons held by iron rings at the bottom and top of the stem.
