Beautiful young ladies with scarf and golden earrings, concertina and cavaquinho players, “alfádega” leaves behind the ear and pictures of Our Lady of Grace on the ribbon of the “vareiros” of three nozzles, men with stick and cane, men with vest and “cavalinho” chains, shrouded promises payers, baskets with snacks covered with alb linen towels, jackboots and clogs, frolics, toccatas, folk music, small calabashes of Santiago, challenge singers…
The snacks are shared in the street with genuine delicacies and Vinho Verde of Basto region. Everyone sings and dances until late at night.
