Old manor house which origins date back to Middle Ages. Nowadays, here it works the investigation services, study and disclosure of Archeology, History, Cultural Anthropology and heritage of Vila Nova de Gaia.
Beyond the Condes de Resende Archive, the studies over the life and work of Eça de Queiroz and the “Roteiro Queirosiano” of Vila Nova de Gaia, the house still has a Museum Center with the Marciano Azuaga Collection, donated to the municipality in 1904.
