The Museum of Terras de Basto, received as a built heritage the old train station and railway vehicles, as well as the equipment that derived with the characteristics of local history, creating a space located in the museum of Arco de Baúlhe. Housed in a natural set of great beauty, the language of the Industrial Heritage and the history of the land, preserves a large balance giving the Museum a site Museum, privileging the territory. ‘Travelling ' at the Museum is having the possibility to discover not only the Royal carriage of Dom Carlos and Lady Amelia, but also authors such as Camilo Castelo Branco thereon to the Museum of Baixo Tâmega (Religious Art), at the monastery of S. Miguel de Refojos and to the Casa da Lã (Wool House) Bucos, a museum space that houses the wool cycle and the production of manufactured work, in former times by the people of this land
