Opened in 2007, the new Municipal Library offers up-to-date services backed by cutting-edge computer and audiovisual technology.
Reading spaces are divided into sections for children’s, young adult and adult books, audiovisual, multimedia and a reserved book section.
The library is used not only for leisure but especially for academic purposes, and is often used by basic and secondary level students, and more and more by high education students.
The Municipal Library also has a large room that can be used for conferences, lectures, workshops and presentation of art works.
Books can also be borrowed, which is very attractive for local residents and also promotes cultural literacy.
