The mountain of the Reboredo is, alongside the hybrid dominium of the Douro and Sabor rivers, the largest natural wealth of the County, with its immense forest covered by a mantle of diverse plant species like oaks, cork tree, pines, “cupressos”, chestnut, Arbustus unedo, heather, "estevas", Cytisus, hawthorn, "carquejas", and rare herbs such as some varieties of orchids and the paeonia broteri.
