The Municipal Museum, is a milling unit of the River Sousa, where visitors can see the mill in operation. This small museum seeks, through various actions, to call attention to the importance of the riverine environment.The lotus and the alder trees that traditionally bordered the banks of river Sousa, were planted in the adjacent swamp. These trees so often supported the tall growing vines, being a secular form of supporting vines. The osier tree, used in the manufacture of basketry, is also planted.
