This traveling exhibition, internationally recognized and unique in its kind, is the result of an annual contest of photojournalism and it is subject to issues of global concern, such as: Wars; Starvation; Ecological disasters; Ethnic and Religious conflicts; Repression and Oppression; Physical and Psychological Misery. Every year it is made the election of the photographs that make up each edition of the World Press Photo, by an international independent jury composed of 13 members that includes professionals from newspapers, news agencies and magazines of the four corners of the globe. The exhibition is open every year in 90 sites from 40 countries around the world.
