Retracing the plateau of Jales, already on the border with the neighboring county of Sabrosa, the dam of Pinhão River is the ideal place to relax, fish or make birdwatching. Resulting from the damming of the Pinhão River for harnessing hydropower, this mirror of water is also used by lovers of extreme sports, canoeing or mountain biking, who prefer places still little pressured by mass tourism. It has a broad picnic park, next to the chapel.
