The cromelech of São Cristóvão, is part of the megalithic site located on the plateau of São Cristóvão, in the Montemuro Mountains, classified as a monument of public interest and a place of great scenic beauty.

It consists of a cromelech with about 40 monoliths, which is an important evidence of the prehistoric period, and also an important source for the study of the Neolithic societies that populated the region. The rarity, antiquity, and scientific importance of the site make it an asset of exceptional value, worthy of recognition and worthy of a visit.
