The seventeenth "coluço" Pillory of Castro Vicente was probably built during the XVI century.
Placed on six octagonal steps. The base is constituted by a small frame with a spherical "calote". The column begins with the shaft that is marked by a small square base and the rest is octagonal, plain with four fractions. The parallelepiped "capitel" has a shield in each face, already very faint but one of them shows the arms of Portugal.
It is finished with a conical pyramid.
