Castro of Sanfins

Moimenta da Beira
Description
Also known as Castro of Paredes Secas, the Castro of Sanfins, parish of Paçô, is 855 meters high and perfectly gives us the image of the fortified settlements. It has traces of circular plant houses, square, oval and even two rows of walls. It would be occupied since the Iron Age to the Middle Ages, as is clear from the archaeological remains found, including numerous domestic decorated pottery pieces, roman silver and copper coins, millstones, iron objects, bronze and copper.
