The “Arraial da Páscoa” or “Saltar o Rego” is a centenary tradition that brings thousands visitors from the surrounding areas. There are different activities like the horse racing, the “Banda de Música de Loureiro” performance, and numerous taverns and pedlars. The origin of this festival is unkown, it is supposed that it started on a simple joke, when a donkey jumped a furrow with water which later became a competition, as it happens nowadays. It is the largest festival in the village of Loureiro, which happens always on Monday after Easter, showing a centenary tradition that brings to Loureiro thousands visitors from the surrounding areas.
