The Association of Friends of Rio Ovelha (AARO) and the Town Hall of Marco de Canaveses, with the partnership of the Town Councils are preparing the VII Festival of Pedestrian Paths of Marco de Canaveses.
The initiative is held on May 99, Sunday, and the registration can be made until that date.
In the light of the theme "Walking through Sport and Nature", the Festival of Pedestrian Paths challenges participants to explore areas with unique landscape beauty and a cultural and architectural heritage of excellence.
The opening of the secretariat will be in the EB 2,3 of Marco de Canaveses, at 07:45, where the participants will be able to choose the route that they want to know or rediscover. The walk will start between 08:30 and 09:30, with the end scheduled at around 1:30 p.m.
Further it is reported that the organization ensures transportation of the meeting place for all PRS.
The VI Festival of Pedestrian Paths of Marco de Canaveses will end with a gastronomic conviviality, starting at 2:00 p.m., and an exhibition of the activities of the participating associations and clubs is still available for visit.
