Marco de Canaveses has, as of May 11, a new brand.
In an event held in the Auditorium of the Pastoral and Cultural Center D. António Francisco dos Santos, in the Parish of Marco, the City Council presented what will be the new brand of the Municipality, more attractive, modern and with which it is intended that Marquis identify themselves. The design presented is the result of a study that included the global vision of the mayors and agents of various sectors of activity, who participated in the identification of the elements for the construction of the new image of the municipality.
The new logo, predominantly green color, is inspired by the natural and built heritage of the county.
The new slogan, "Rivers of Emotion", uses a double meaning of the word "Rios", referring again to the natural heritage of the territory, but above all, it intends to reinforce what the study indicates as one of the main characteristics of the Canaveses Framework: the sympathy, kindness, humility and hospitality of the Marcuans. Rivers of Emotion is the describes a county of many emotions.
