CTCP- Portuguese Footwear Technology Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 by the Association of Industrialists of the Sector (APICCAPS) and two Institutes of the Ministry of Economy dedicated to supporting innovation - IAPMEI and INETI. Its main objectives are to support technically and technologically the companies in the footwear sector, supporting them in their different activities related to their business strategies.
Born from a small technical laboratory dedicated to conducting quality control tests and trials, it was mainly from 1990 onwards that CTCP took a more active role in approaching and getting closer to companies, and also intervening in other areas, namely in the provision of the following services: Industrial organization and management; Quality Control (Chemical and Physical tests); IT and Management Systems; Company and product certification; Preparation and monitoring of industrial projects; Vocational training and qualification; Production of Technical Documentation (Audiovisuals, Brochure, Manuals, Newsletter); Environment; Health and safety at work; Design and multimedia; Industrial property.
