The house offers a breathtaking view over the river Douro, in a green valley, practically untouched by the presence of the man. It is located 50km (1 hour away) from the city of Porto and its airport.
The house is a reconstruction of 2010 where the original building from 1866 has been preserved. The walls are tapioca of the region, of granitic stone with 80cm of thickness to preserve a cool temperature. Glass, iron and wood are the raw materials used to combine with the ancient materials conveying a cozy and comfortable environment to the house.
In total the house has 224m2 with three bedrooms, kitchen and large living room, a bathroom and a toilet and a studio. The exterior is more 1200m2 of typical terraces of the Douro with several fruit trees.
