The House of the palaces is a Tourist house located in the village of Palaces. Located about 15km northwest of the city of Bragança, Palácios is situated in a plateau region and belongs to the parish of S. Julião de Palácios, inserted in the Natural Montesinho Park, in a border region, and it integrates a region locally denominated by Alta Lombada.
The great house of Palaces ( as it is known there, was built between 1876 and 1882 on the initiative of Manuel António Ferreira and his wife Ana Maria Barreira, great-grandfathers of the current promoter Rui Ferreira Rodrigues.
