In the course of 1978, coming from the hillside of Serra da Cabreira, I went to Switzerland, where I lived until 1996. Returning to Minho, with the knowledge I had acquired in that country, where the hoteliers’ welcoming is a tradition, I realized that the time had come to offer an accommodation and restaurant service which allowed the “good foreigners” to appreciate this natural beauty, with its aromas and flavours. With my children I look for a personalized customer service, always available, and of quality. The flavours are ensured by my wife together with her cooking staff. This is how, in the beginning of this decade, the first Hotel Nascente do Ave 1 *** was born. It is this same customer service and welcoming spirit that you will find in this new unit, in this same place. Among family, we offer the traditional welcoming ways of Minho, with an environmentally friendly service, in comfortable spaces, combining tradition with the comfort of today’s standards.
