Involved by the spectacular scenery of Alvarinho wine, Parada’s House stays near the village of Monção, in the parish of Messegães. In an environment that reflects Minho’s landscape, the stone, the water and the green confer a very special charm to this property.

But, in fact, what really makes this place different and exclusive is the sensibility revealed by its owners, Marta Dias and Nuno Rodrigues, and the way they knew how to explore and value the specificity of the architecture and the typical materials of the region, to transform, in a scenery that blends tradition and contemporaneity, the great-grandfather’s old house, Aníbal Parada, in Parada’s House.

All the five rooms have air conditioning, TV/Radio and free wifi. One of the rooms is adapted for people with physical disabilities.


Activities:

Walkings through Messegães - Get lost in the village… Course the tracks and paths in the margins of Minho river, watch the fishes’ hops and feel the soft breeze of the river mixed with the earth’s aromas where Alvarinho reigns.

Jeep strolls with driver - To know district of Monção and the region closely, get the adventure of a jeep stroll through the tracks, rivers and hills, covering magnificent landscapes and getting to know closely the traditions, trough paths that only the locals know. Through the journey, you may do some stops to listen to the guide explaining some customs of the populations.

Swimming pool - The swimming pool allows you to enjoy the pleasures of the sun, refreshing yourself when the heat is high. The privacy of the place is an invitation to relaxation.

The pleasure of silence -  The absolute silence provided by the village guarantees moments of total tranquility. In a hammock near the swimming pool, in the esplanade of rod of the porch or in the comfort of the room, enjoy your reading.

Purchase of wines and regional products -The wines, the jams and homemade spicy sausages of the region, unknown by the excellent combination of quality/price, may be purchased in Parada’s House.

You may participate in the vintages and other agricultural activities - In September and/or October, months in which the grapes are mature and ready to be collected, you may participate in the vintages and in all the rituals that the activity implicates.
