Being part of the Museu do Douro, the restaurant “A Companhia” benefits in an artistic point of view as well as from the spectacular sight over the Douro River. The cuisine is traditionally portuguese with a touch of modernity, based in seasonal products with distinct quality. It is possible to enjoy a meal in three different areas: in the restaurant, wine bar or during the summery season in garden with view to the Douro River. Specialties: codfish with corn bread, octopus limbs with pepper salad and potatoes; beef on a stick; pork tenderloin with bean rice; apple pie with vanilla ice cream; drunken pear in sparkling wine with cinnamon cream.
