Quinta de Religaes

Quinta de Religães is located in the green wine region, in the north of Portugal, in the parish of Bairros. Its location is on a slope facing the river Paiva which is good  for wine growing. The present owners have completed a reconversion of the vineyard in order to produce high quality wines, introducing new grape varieties, among them chardonnay, unique in this Paiva sub-region. The property is managed by the family, where the production process relies on manual work (harvest and treatment of the vineyard), and the most recent technology in the bottling process. It produces white wine, red wine and rosé, which is commercialized under the Quinta de Religães brand. The farm is equipped with a modern wine cellar with wine tasting room. Considering the unique peculiarities in flavour, this "nectar of the gods" has been several times awarded in events and contests. The affection  and dedication of the owners are essential to this whole process.
