It started in the 50's, practising a regional cuisine in particular plates from Minho. With rustic decoration and old furniture, the delicacies are made with home made products.
It stands out Bolinhos de Bacalhau (fried potatoes, codfish, eggs, parsley) with red bean's rice, Bacalhau à moda da casa (cod, house speciality), Papas de Sarrabulho (pork, chicken and cow meat, pork blood, corn flour, caraway, salt), Feijoada à Minhota (white beans stew with pork and beef, vegetables, Portuguese assorted sausages with white rice) and Cozido à Portuguesa (beef, pork and chicken meat, Portuguese smoked (or blood) sausages, vegetables) and for dessert Pudding from Abade de Priscos, Almond tart with siam pumpkin, home made Mousse and Leite-creme (egg custard base topped with a layer of hard caramel).
