In the parish of Basto S. Clemente, in the northern area of the county, we find one of the most rural village of the county. Walking and watching the houses, you can see the houses, it still stick in the ground floor the houses of livestock’s and the family house. The place of Pereira has seen the birth of António Ribeiro, which in May 13 of 1971 was nominated the 15º Patriarch of Lisbon.
