The Municipal Aerodrome Vilar de Luz in Folgosa parish, is an airport facility owned by the City Council of Maia.
This is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty just 10 km from the center of Maia and has a helipad, hangars zone where the facilities of its main operators, such as Aero Club, the Paraclube and the Company Nortávia (company transport, aerial photography and flying school). It also has maintenance workshop certified driving school, school of parachuting, fuel filling station and a snack bar. To reach the center, you should take a taxi. By car take the EN 105-2 to the vicinity of the A41, which should go to the exit MAIA CENTER.
