An imposing secular grove welcomes you to this monument built between the XVI and XVII century. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful properties of the "Vale do Lima". It belongs to the Counts of "Alamada and Avranches". In front of the main entrance of the "Lanheses" Palace lies the Serra d'Agra. The various rooms, the noble area and the majestic bedrooms still preserve traces of original objects reflecting the Family , the house and the Country's History. The former water tank made of granite was rehabilitated into a swimming pool filled with natural water from the mines. In the back, nice areas and gardens are surrounding the house contrasting with the rural landscape rioght tothe Rio Lima. The XVII Century Chapel has as a Saint Patron São Sebastião and on the Altar "Senhor da Cana Verde". It still got a prime art painting , which the owners will soon show to the public.
