The Via Sacra of Vila do Conde is a set of six stations, built between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, with identical structure and decoration, in granite ashlar, in the front of the streets, embedded in walls with baroque features. It presents a rectangular plan and simple volumes, with gabled roof coverage.
The chapels of the steps of the Cross are spread throughout the city and are a representation of the life of Jesus Christ, from the Praetorium to Calvary. This station is the scene where "Jesus comforts the women of Jerusalem."
