In 1595, the Brotherhood of Mercy was founded in the village, an event that promotes the edification of the first temple, completely reconstructed in 1710. The church presents itself with a longitudinal plan type, with the axial and frontal gateway richly decorated in baroque style, even though some elements, such as the pulpit and choir, are already neoclassical.
The stone made cross (crucifix), located in the square next to the back façade, area of the former cemetery, is a specimen of the 18th century, consisting of two steps; its plant and capital decorated by representations of the Christ’s life, finishing with a cross.
