The Soutelo bridge in massive granite blocks, launches on the river Bestança to unite, imposingly, pedestrian crossing and in car cows, one of the most important routes for the region. It is located in Tendais parish, municipality of Cinfães, more precisely in the place of Soutelo and makes the crossing of the Bestança River linking the localities of Granja and Quinhão.
Typologically, it is a bridge with medieval origins built in granite.
It has a round arch with about 9m in diameter, an easel with 2.5m wide (inside face), a flagstone pavement with large blocks and slabs in large dimensions of both sides.
The missing elements, especially by erosion, have been repaired, sometimes by the users themselves, with sometimes by picturesque and rudimentary techniques.
The beauty of the surrounding area (bridge, sidewalk, river and meadows), is now one of the assets most popular in the Vale da Bestança, and can be seen along the PR2 ( Pathway 2) - Rota do Vale, one of the six walking routes network.
