On the peripheral urbanized area, from a high point dominated by a prominent granitic outcropping, emerges a threshing floor, a place of tradition communal experience, flanked by 24 “Espigueiros” (cereals warehouses) of Galician and Minho type, characterized by a lower body and lengthened stone construction, forming since 1983 a cluster classified as “Immovable of Public Interest”. The pannier built of lintel (primitive elements of these structures), disappeared. Some presenting an obvious sacralisation; with the top crosses sitting on pedestals and dedicated to the divine protection of its contents; contents which essential to the survival of the local community.
