Senhora de Lurdes Belvedere is situated 355 m high on a granite hill surrounded by rocky shelters. The northern slope is rugged and steep and faces the Douro River. The southern slope has a gentler incline and a wall-like structure right across the mountain range to the East. This is considered one of the most beautiful belvederes, overlooking an impressive landscape to the north and northwest sides, overlooking the steep and rugged slopes, and over the wide Douro River, Tua train station, and the several hills with vineyards planted on terraces forming the Douro World Heritage Site.
The outdoor facility may be visited at any time of day, so no booking is required.
