The “Senhor do Bonfim” Fountain or Vassal Fountain is one of the Vassal´s village main heritage. It can be accessed from the Municipal Road nº 543. It is a 17th century diving fountain, of rectangular plant, with perfect round arch access to the cistern; it is covered in barrel vault and overlapped by a niche. It is a granite fountain of two floors with a wooden image of “Senhor de Bonfim”. It has stairs to access the fountain and the oratory.
