The Senhor da Oliveira Cross Stone made part of an ancient Via Crucis that started in the central area towards the Calvary. The current Norte Street, used to be named of Cruzinhas (Crosses) Street, for having many crosses that belonged to the Via Crucis. It is part of the of the Old Axis of Valongo city. In this Cross Stone the fourth step is placed when the Santos Passos (Holy Steps) procession takes place.
