Guilherme Ferreira Thedim was, throughout the 20th century, one of the great ambassadors of Matosinhos, because his sacred images produced in his workshop in Santa Cruz do Bispo, "traveled" to altars around the world. In the museum are dozens of pieces of wood, plaster, terracotta or stone, which depict the intense process of manufacturing a sculpture, from the raw molds, in the initial phase, to the polychrome work and its completion, being complemented by An exhibition with informative and multimedia panels. Sponsored by the Municipality of Matosinhos, it is based in the Civic Center of Santa Cruz do Bispo, exhibits an artistic and documentary collection donated by the family of the master sculptor to the City Hall. Guilherme Thedim was one of the most consecrated sculptors of sacred art of the twentieth century and co-author of the first image of Nossa Senhora de Fátima.
