The belvedere stands at an altitude of 735 m, on the crest dividing the municipalities of Paredes de Coura and Valença, offering unobstructed views to the south/southwest over the entire municipality of Paredes de Coura. It has a picnic park, the Chapel of S. Silvestre, dated from the 17th/18th century. The wind park in its surroundings does not affect the farming landscape with its natural patches of vegetation.
