Its construction started in 1781, to end only by the 19th century. The building, as a church, is characterized by a sole longitudinal nave, with a rectangular chancel, a sacristy and other dependencies attached to both sides. At the middle of the façade was erected a bell tower ended by a turret apparently of the “Porto”’s area influence. The set of tiles covering the exterior dates back to the 19th century, the main structure presenting a significant staircase.
