This medieval necropolis consists of four graves dug in the rock, although the facts show the existence of more graves, indicating a larger cemetery. These tombs were covered with granite, and were aimed to the outstanding members of the community. This core has an anthropomorphic plant grave, semi-trapezoidal rectangular headboard, and a tomb of oval outline, with unfinished adaptation of a headboard in arch to reuse later. It is observed also part of an oval tomb and a rectangular grave with a well-defined line shoulders and trapezoidal headboard. The different type show different stages of the use of the
necropolis
. The graves should date from the VIII and IX centuries, and the anthropomorphic ones between the IX and XI centuries. Its location can be associated with the old path, but also with a possible prime property of which it was remained the name Quintã.
