The "Trilho do Vento" short walking trail starts and ends at the sub-station of the wind park of Terras Altas, in Fafe, at Lagoa, in the parish of Várzea Cova. The trail was designed with the aim of improving hikers’ awareness of wind power. Along its 14 km stretch, the entire process is explained to hikers, from wind formation to using it to produce electricity.
