This circuit connects two villages Barcos and Santa Leocádia. Barcos is a very old village in Tabuaço, owning a rich architectural heritage and having been recently classified as a wine-producing village. Santa Leocádia is a lovely and typical village over the River Tedo. The soils are uneven between both villages, but this does not constitute a problem since the landscape is magnificent and the nature is exuberant. The Mediterranan forest, streams, traditional agriculture fields and the vineyards of Douro are som of the pieces of the natural puzzle we are about to visit, walking along some beautiful trails of an ancient pavement.
