For historical reasons, pottery is more concentrated in the northeast part of the municipality: Manhente, Galegos S. Martinho, Galegos Sta. Maria, Oliveira, Roriz, Lama, Ucha and Areias S. Vicente. These lands are rich in clay and water. Here you will find the masters of craftsmen of the municipality, whose art has passed from generation to generation.
