Founded by William Offley in 1737, the Company gained worldwide fame and recognition under the guidance of Joseph James Forrester, a legendary figure in the history of Porto Wine, appointed Baron by the King of Portugal.
The Baron of Forrester was an important businessman, oenologist, artist and the author of the first map of the Douro region. He left an important artistic, photographic and cartographic legacy, recognized today as of the utmost importance for the Douro History.
Offley continues to reflect irreverence and contemporaneity, producing Porto Wines of international quality.
